my egyptian tortoise ocatoinally goes and just stiks his head in the water and open his mouth a little and close it realy fast to drink and its so cute and i like watching the water movents in his tiny neck 😁

I just witnessed my sulcata drinking for a full 4 minutes. Then takes a break and drinks again for 1 minute. Amazing creatures

Dou you wake Largo to soak in the morning or wait til she's more active and out of her enclosure? Not sure if we should wake our 15 year old sulcata (newly adopted) to reach the morning sun for a soak or wait for him to come out of his house on his own and be more active at around noon onwards

Everyone should wear gloves when touching the water they bathe in. Reptiles can carry pathogens that can make you ill.

My beast comes out to shower when the sprinklers come on for the grass area. He'll walk over and settle right in front of the sprayer even on warmer days of winter. The heaters in winter enclosures remove a lot of humidity. A protected pail of water inside the enclosure helps a little.

Im running into the same problem with my Columbian Rainbow. We have been thru one round of 4 injections and went to another vet visit. He was then givin ANOTHER round of injections (this time 5 total). We have just administered the third last night and he is still wheezing quite a bit. No mucus discharge and he seems to be happy but I'm still pretty worried about him. How long did it take for your guy to stop wheezing? Thanks for all your helpful info!
